About NETFEAT
The creation of NETFEAT was driven by two main beliefs:
- That e-learning has many benefits over traditional modes of learning
- That teachers and organisations need support in realising these benefits
E-learning, and in particular online learning are modes of learning that have many benefits over traditional classroom based training, and recognition of this is evidenced in the growing contribution of e-learning across all education sectors. On the other hand, there are also many websites highlighting the disadvantages of e-learning, with examples illustrating ineffective and inappropriate uses of e-learning that hamper rather than enhance the efforts of students, teachers and organisations.
NETFEAT was established by Ken Johnson in response to this, to support teachers and organisations as they seek to make the most of e-learning.
